Web development

Web development can be defined as the process involved in creating web sites. Web sites are composed of related documents created using (X)HTML markup language. Each document, image, downloadable file, service, electronic mailbox, etc. has a unique identifier (Uniform Resource Identifier or URI, also known as URL) that has been published to the World Wide Web (www). This allow hyperlinking between elements and pages.

The process of developing web sites includes specialties such as information architecture, user interface design, user experience design, animation, sound design, accessibility, usability, application design, web design, scripting and programing, database design, search engine optimization, etc.
