Exhibit design is a class of experience design focusing on information transmittal, which includes: trade show booths, pop-up displays, museum design, store displays, posters, etc.

Permanent and semi-permanent exhibits

Lobby displays, museum exhibits, store displays may be classified as permanent or semi-permanent exhibits/displays. These exhibits require specialized installation services

Portable and semi-portable exhibits and displays

Trade show booths may be either semi-portable (requiring crating and specialized installation) or portable. The use of portable vertical banners and light weight connected-panel displays has increased as a lower cost, more easily updatable option for smaller displays, as well as store and lobby displays.
